    yeah ive noticed the amount of "public meeting " going up exponentially in tallaght and clondalkin as well

    TBH even though its against the law i seriously doubt joe public knows or cares about that. bertie can waffle as much as he wants IMO everyone reckons the electons been on for the last couple of months and dont give a toss about him calling the election.

    i think most people have made up their minds and just dont want to tell the media ala the citizenship referendum so the whole "campaign" is somewhat redundant now.

    by the way any of you guys know how much these poster cost apeice? loads of the fecking things get set alight on the lamposts in my area and im just wondering how thats hitting the candidate . and indeed if they can do anything about it .

    A case for taking down early posters?

    any posters that are up before the election is called should be fair game i.e. they can be replaced by whomsoever feels like it when the election is called. the candidate taking this action should of course take photos before the election call.
