    Labour & Fine Gael (finally!) to publish joint tax plans

    Fine Gael and the Labour Party will tomorrow (Thursday) publish the latest in their series of joint documents, Protecting the Progress, an agreed agenda on tax and jobs.

    The Leader of Fine Gael, Enda Kenny TD and the Leader of the Labour Party, Pat Rabbitte TD will join their Party Front Benchers Richard Bruton TD, Ruairi Quinn TD, Phil Hogan TD and Joan Burton TD to launch an agreed agenda on tax and jobs, Protecting the Progress.

    What's with the "finally" nonsense?

    The FFailures only published theirs a couple of days ago.

    "finally" ??? fianna fail only announced theirs 2 days ago. why wasnt the same wording applied to them?

    the biased and sensationalist thread titles are getting tiresome around here

    Fianna Fáil consistently said they would be releasing their figures a few weeks out from the election. Whereas we've been subjected to on / off promises of joint documents from Fine Gael and Labour from the time of the Mullingar Accord...

    Fianna Fáil consistently said they would be releasing their figures a few weeks out from the election. Whereas we've been subjected to on / off promises of joint documents from Fine Gael and Labour from the time of the Mullingar Accord...
    We've been subject to on-off promises from FF/PD's since..oooh... the time of yer manifesto launches in 2002.
