SF and DUP were engaged in sectarian politics in Assembly elections. The people in the republic dont want their ( SF)politics down here, they stand for division and polarisation. Reminiscent of the Nazis in 1930's , using Nationalism to get power, not democracy. What have they to offer ? Great friends of Cuban regime..... they ban opposition parties over there . Have you ever heard SF calling on Cuba to recognise democracy ? Wonder why,

Well, this was my original offer, which still stands:

This is a serious bet, so don't offer odds if you're not willing to stand behind them. I suggest sending both stakes to a neutral party via PayPal who can pay out after the election.

For clarity, if all five of the current SF TDs retain their seats, I lose. If one or more of the current SF TDs do not get re-elected in the constituency they are currently in (or a successor constituency, in the event of boundary changes), then I win. Who's up for it?
Kerry North was the only person to stump up with a real offer...

So for fairness, I'll say one month from today, I'll take the bet with the best odds offered. So bobby, do you want to better KN?

So you're backing out already??? So YOU are all mouth and trousers???

You asked for a bet, I answered it. If you want to back out feel free but be honest and say you're not man enough to take the bet. Don't change the rules and refer me to a thread I know nothing about.

Either put up or shut up! :P

Like most anti-Republicans when you stand up to them there's no substance, all bluster! :P

Ah, no. Maybe you should read my post again. I am actually proposing the bet again, like I did about a month ago here, when almost nobody took me up on it. So, if you can offer better odds than Kerrynorth, I'll bet with you. If you can't, then I'll bet with whoever can.

And I'm a republican, by no means an anti-republican.
