Yawn. As you well know, Red, the reason Gilroy with 4,500 votes outpolled Kelly with 3,600, was that Kelly had a running mate, who polled 3,500 votes. Still, never let the facts get in the way, eh?

Also labour are more likely to bag transfers from sf, wp and sp.
And as you know from another thread, in the last GE Labour only got about 400 more transfers out of 7,000 than FG did, while in the locals across those wards they only got about 100 more.

Hard to know who ff would transfer to though, which could be the deciding factor.
Each other. And they'll be needed. Its also very possible that the second FF candidate could be "last man standing", neither elected nor eliminated, so those transfers might not come into play anyway.
