Sen. David Norris to run for President

On occasion he has managed to really annoy me, i don't think he is able to be critical of those close to him and has sometimes, (i feel) supported the wrong people.
But overall i think he would be a great candidate and i think this role would suit someone so colorful.
And it would annoy all the right people.

The Icelandic President is a Lesbian so maybe a gay Irish President would fit right in as a Head of State of a broke entity. But I certainly would not be voting for him anyway. David seems to have a taste for gay partners around the world from Israeli to a Moroccan or some such country the most recent guy is. He will turn the Aras into a global gay harem and bring the country into disrepute - well at least into more disrepute than it is at the moment.

Why should the man's sexuality have to even be an issue? surely people will vote for him or not based on his beliefs and policies. It's 2010, we should be well past the fickle small mindedness and bigoted opinions of little catholic Ireland of old.
