Are FF guaranteed a seat everywhere?

It has always been a rule of thumb that Fianna Fail can't fail to win at least one seat in every Dail constituency. Will this be the election where they end their run?

I've heard Dublin South East being described as a constituency where no party is sure of a seat, for example.

When we try to predict results are we being lazy in counting one off to FF before we even start?
If there is a future, it will be Green.

In light of what has gone on in Dublin Castle over the last 10 years, its a very poor reflection of us as a people that we will return a FF TD in every constituency.
The only way to change the world is to win elections.

Kerry North and Dublin South East look to be the only 2 possible constituencies where FF could possible end up without a seat. It would be a bad day nationally for FF for this to occur!

For a political party that is consistently on between 35% and 40% to be unable to win a seat in any constituency there would have to be some extreme local factor working against them. Has it happened in the past that FF haven't succeeded in electing at least one TD in every constituency?
    Average expenses per TD in 2011:- FG €36,412, Lab €28,756, FF €45,219, SF €44,413, SP €23,654, PBP €31,866, WUAG €49,911, IND €37,805, CC €13,112.

There is no FF TD in Kildare, in McCreevys old constituency.

Isn't that because of a by-election when McCreevy went off to Europe? In a GE surely FF would have a seat in Kildare.

FF always had the given right to a seat in each constituency, but from talking to people etc, I reckon they could be in trouble in some of the three seaters around the country. For them to listen, losing seats is they only way it will happen. So come on folks,, it is payback and hopefully after the election Bertie will not be back

    Dear Mr. Ahern,

I hereby give you 3 months notice of my intention to recommend termination of your post.

During your 10 year probationary period, you have failed to live up to my expectation as a team leader, shown poor example to other employees,
failed to be decisive when required, failed to provide proper direction and authority, misled the customer with gombeen guffaw, showed poor attendance at the office, and worst of all, stood by Martin Cullen on more than one occassion.

Please ensure your front bench and cabinet are emptied before you leave.

    Yours etc.,
    EVM0197

    is that OK jayblue ?

They've been pretty "empty" for the past few years!
