FF are guaranteed two seats in Galway East...absolutely untouchable. If they ran two monkeys with FF hats they would be elected.

South-East, maybe - but despite the savage anti-FF mood in mid-west, there's still enough votes there for a quota. And as for North-Central..... errr, did you know that FF got 50% there in 2002?

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

    Interesting one.

    What about Kerry North?

Last time they got 30% split between two candidates. A drop of say 5% would make things very tight.

Or even 30% badly split! I was reading Trinity research in the last few days which showed that FF inter-party transfers are being to fall significantly, 63% at the last election. And you have 2 candidates in Kerry North who the sight of each other and from differing backgrounds: Mac traditional rural republican FF and Foley middle class urban FF.
