Proof that electronic voting can be hacked

Will The Next Election Be Hacked?

Fresh disasters at the polls -- and new evidence from an industry insider -- prove that electronic voting machines can't be trusted

studies have demonstrated that hackers can easily rig the technology to fix an election - and across the country this year, faulty equipment and lax security have repeatedly undermined election primaries
The rocket bombs which fell daily on London were probably fired by the Government of Oceania itself...

what's wrong with providing more proof .The U.S experience should be a warning to everyone. The powers-that-be will use technology to undermine democracy..

In reality electronic voting in Ireland is dead, however much Cullen and co may try to deceive people into thinking otherwise. But then that is typical Cullen. How on earth did that talentless nonentity get into cabinet? He couldn't run a dog kennel.

Cullen's appointment to Ministerial Office is an indicator of the disasterous leadership of Ahern. How could Ahern possibly be so stupid to think that Cullen is suitable for any position in the Cabinet?

But let's not forget, B-Be-Bertie asked in the Dail would anyone believe that FF would use eVoting to steal an election! And since then the Wicklow Windbag has done his damnest to 'fix' the electoral register!

I've blogged a review of these flaws on IrishElection, since that post there have been more developments with the Dutch system. The Dutch version of America's NSA, AIVD examined 5 sample machines (each with minor configuration differences) and found they could read the vote via the machines electromagnetic emissions in 4 machines. The fifth machine passed the emission test but its screen colours of green-on-red meant that it failed the accessibility testing as 4% of males cannot distinguish between red and green.

The Minister of Interior, Atzo Nicolai is getting serious flak and according to the Slashdot site was suspended but my Dutch or more correctly my babel fishing hasn't quite confirmed that bit.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that he couldn't run a dog kennel..I think he'd be the perfect man to do so as he's barking mad
