The big survey

The Trust for Irish-medium Education has put together a survey for people to give their opinion on the Irish language. It can be filled in as Gaeilge or in English at the link below.

Please take the time to fill this survey in and to circulate it widely not just within Ireland, even if you have a negative attitude towards the language.

It will help formulate policies and strategies that would make Irish language promotion more efficient with taxpayers money.

You are right that there was a northern element to it. The Trust is based in the north but the survey attempted to be open enough for people throughout Ireland and abroad.

Apparently over 100 people based outside of Ireland have already filled it in!
