What country in the world uses PR schemes for their teachers?

As you know nothing about teaching, your opinions on the subject are about as useful as a lighthouse in the Bog of Allen.

The point is you are not, you know nothing about it and in addition, you know nothing about work measurement for the purposes of awarding payments. But none of that prevents you from repeatedly posting gobbledigook here on such matters.

I have no idea, are you saying that we should only do things because others do or that we should nto because other do not. Now Kevin, your usual entrance to a thread like this is predictable (as I am sure mine is), but perhaps take time to read the post, and why perf related pay was mooted in the first instance, also take time to read the point where I agreed about the difficulties relating to certain professions but this does not exclude it entirely, there is no profession where a measure of performance related pay is not possible, or worthwhile.

The question is not relevent. Regarding you knowing something about work measurement for the purposes of determinging pay, your knowledge is venial given your suggestion that such a scheme is possible in the classroom. I see you have started another thread attacking workers at Sligo hospital. You are fixated and that explains why you so often make a fool of yourself.

No you appear to think your once size fits all approach is in some way relevant.

Judging by the sheer number of posts you contribute to this site, practically all day every day, working hours or not, I seriously doubt you have been part of any system that awards pay for anything.

You don’t work, if you do, you are clearly surplus to requirements yet remain strangely immune from these so called market forces that would not permit you to exist in any shape or form if what you post is to be believed.

    In short, you’re a spoofer.

    The teachers superior

performace related pay is never a black and white issue, it is never, or should never be strictly down to a set of figures, all circumstances should be taken into consideration, there is nothing to stop issues like this being taken into consideration during a review, I get this in my own job al the time, some years my performance is down due to reasons beyond my control, and I am able to have this considered.

    Again, their superior

And can be measured easily, for both teacher and pupil!! Should be one of the basic components of performance measurement

    No

The primary school curriculum should be recast to place far greater emphasis on the three Rs. You then build on that.

    Why not

Yawn, you speak about pavlovian responses!!

Out and out refusal of any level of it is left wing clap trap

Now to a point you are correct, there are certainly exceptions to certain professions which make it difficult, but certainly not impossible to introduce some level of performance related pay.

I think you'll find that this says you did. Is it possible that with the multiple quotes that your remarks got mixed up with someone elses? My question is rooted in a genuine interest and I would like to pose it to the correct person. Thanks.
Realistically speaking, if the majority of humanity remain non-believers, it doesn't matter. No problem! The problem is that the majority of humanity have lost or ignore the deeper human values - compassion, a sense of responsibility. That is our big concern.
