NPC Postcard Campaign

Primary Education Counts

NPC have launched a campaign to protect Primary education through the current economic climate.

We have heard from many parents the concerns and fears they have for their child's education during the downturn in the economy. Parents have asked NPC to help them make their voices heard during this crucial time.

It is important as a National group that we represent parents' concerns regarding the inadequate funding of the Primary education system and we will continue to do this through our dialogue with the Minister for Education. However it is also important that the anger and fear that many parents have regarding the recent budget cuts and any future "efficiencies" that may be on the horizon, is harnessed and communicated to those that have the power to make change and with this in mind NPC have launched a postcard campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to communicate to all local and National representatives a clear message "Primary Education Counts". It is essential that as many postcards are sent to our elected representatives as possible for this campaign to make real change for children in Primary education. The postcards are also available in Irish.
