    I sent an email application for a vote when this thread went up and haven't heard any more of it.

    Thats because your from Cork and probably voting for the wrong (cork) candidate!

    Well, did anyone vote? This being an Political site I thought there might have been some interest?

    Anybody already registered but not having voted yet can do so at the NUI offices in Merrion Square, in person.

    I voted. I had to ask to get a ballot paper sent out to me and all the rest, but I felt it was important enough to do all that.

    Obviously being an FGer I voted for Maurice Manning as well.

    Well, congrats for voting. I am a firm believer in participatory elective positions of this variety.

    Apparently the NUI have been inundated by votes, much more so than any other election.
