    Once you accept that a power of some kind created the universe out of nothing then you logically must consider that a power of that nature would not cease to be involved in what it had created.

    If the thing that created the universe was alive, then it was the first thing in the universe. It didn't create out of nothing, because it itself was not nothing. What created it? An even smarter god?
