Hardly, children think they are immortal and many don't even have a concept of death to begin with - but they do have nameless fears.

A prayer such as this which posits the existence of a great Guardian figure could be beneficial in comforting them against those nameless fears.

Which god-boys, enemy-of-too-many? Sikh's don't have a "turn-the-other-cheek" clause in their religion, neither do Shinto, Judeaism, Islam, etc, only Christianity. Which points that you aren't actually anti-religion as such, just anti-Christian. Or just anti-Catholicism.

You neglected to explain that in quantum mechanics(politics), particles(policies) can be spinning in to two directions at once until the wavefunction collapses under measurement. (see which way the wind is blowing ?)

QM is much less messy than politics, at least you can use san-check dice with QM, all you get with politics is the dice landing on a corner. Every time. Policies (particle/waves) always spin in an infinite number of axes.
