    2009 GAA player of the year Paul Galvin in classroom bust up with student

    Kerry GAA star and All Star football of the year 2009 Paul Galvin was involved in an alleged bust up with a student in his school. He teaches at St Brendans in Killarney. Details later in the papers.

    Galvin is like a volcano waiting to blow up. It's takes a lot of restraint and holding the bottle well.

    Well if he hit a pupil at least then there will be one less public sector worker on the payroll....lol

    If he's a fulltime teacher, he could have taken a contract out on the kid and he'd still have a job.

    I thought teachers got fired these days if they assault pupils.

    Thats very true, I momentarily forgot how hard it is to fire a teacher on a permanent contract.
