Schools are allowed to discriminate against persons whose 'lifestyles' would contradict the ethos of the school.

That's a council of despair. Surely something should be done to counteract all bullying rather than just accepting it as a 'fact of life'. Bullying has a terrible effect on people and everything possible should be done to stamp it out. Homosexuals should not have to hide who and what they are simply because of the fear of bullying.
