I wonder what your opinion of Kenny will be when FG eventually cop on and dump him.

The will not have far to go, just ask the boys in Fianna Fail who expertly knifed Bertie after he telling the country he would be there until 2012,What a way to be kicked out, then they all stand around, including Gormley and give him a big clap,I would say Cowen is sleeping uneasily those nights, that knock on the door is coming.

My opinion of FitzGerald or Dukes has not changed because I disagree with them about Nama but then, I never worshipped either of them - admiration is as far as I go. I want a solution that is not dependent on a new property bubble.

What they both said was that NAMA in theory is fine. They did not say the FF version of NAMA was fine and they both said there is no perfect solution - each one on offer has problems. Hardly earth shattering revelations. The irony of course that you'd never catch a FFer being so honest and debating a policy purely in terms of the policy as everything FF says has to be done through the prism of how it affects whichever vested interest who pays the bills for the party and it's reps needs to be kept on side.
