    Agreed. He tried to back-pedal and say they could not buy NAMA assets but he is definitely bluffing.

    If the banks are not insolvent why does the DoF maintain that the banks will need extra capital injection if the haircut is too deep?

    Brilliant and confident performance by Minister. All oppsoition figure now look like clowns. 20% haircut on smaller NAMA coming, banks should rally on this. Taxpayer will make a fortune buying land down 50%. Go Brian Go-get those dozers moving again.

    That was complete bullsh*t, he was saying that the banks share value showed that they had positive economic values ignoring the impact of NAMA (i.e. lets take your bad assets of your balance sheet).
