    I emailed Sligo's "dissident" TDs, Devins and Scanlon, with Brian Lucey's questions about NAMA.
    Answer came there none.

    Lucey emailed most economics/finance academics in the country asking for support. I'd have hoped he would have got more than 45, but August isn't the best time, I suppose.

    Still, good for him. It's a big step up from 20, and it was good to involve more people

    So, Ahearne got wind of this and emailed the same people asking them not to sign until they had read his article espousing NAMA - which contained nothing new.

    Tragic.

    The real issue here is that the other guys are jealous that Ahearne got the big advisor job. Pure jealousy here and very little else.
