I recieved the appointment to go for public health tests eight months after I first visited A&E complaining of the same symptoms.

If it was cancer and detected when I presented first my chances of survival would be increased at least five times. If it was left for eight months it would more than likely have been untreatable or I'd have to have half my insides removed.

I'm unsure of your reasons for questioning me. I'm not joking here.
Because of your claim about being dead within a year, I never doubted you had a scare, I just doubted that claim is all. And I think I was right to question that claim, you shouldn't have made it if you didn't want it to be questioned. From what I've read survival rate for cancer is 2% lower in the main public hospitals and 10% lower in regional hospitals than the private hospitals, which needs improving(and I think it slowly is) but no one can say with the certainty that you did that they would have been dead in the public system but not the private.

I'm not defending 8 months, it's completely unacceptable but it was most likely that long because you where a low risk(age, weight, lifestyle) of actually having cancer.

No it's 8 months across the board. I'd lost 20kg in about three weeks, could hardly leave the house and was sent from my GP's office the hospital because he thought it urgent enough to do so.
    A poster of some consequence...

Bowel cancer? We're the worst in western Europe for it apparently.

May I ask what was the cause in the end? (obviously you don't have to answer)

I'm not aware that Libertas ever ran on a libertarian platform per se.

Regardless libertarianism is a total scam, any party that endorses it is a scam also.

Perhaps worse than libertarianism is fusionism: a hybrid of libertarian principles, along with lipservice to social-conservatism. Libertarianism is the "active ingredient" in fusionism.

It is the doctrine of the Republican Party since Goldwater.

I suspect Libertas were going down a fusionist path, backed as they were by fusionist orgs such as the Heritage Foundation.

FF and the Neo-Liberal Capitalist "Right" in general could be described as fusionist also.

Marxists, Feminists and Leftists operate on the basis of "liberating tolerance" - i.e. their ideas should be tolerated, and any opposition should be suppressed.
