We need to find a mechanism to push all the pain onto the shareholders and bondholders. We should only be cashflowing them through a difficulty, not taking on the risk.
If there two items were in the NAMA plan I'd support it but i've got my doubts and without them NAMA is a totally different scheme.

Will the GP vote for NAMA if these two changes are not included?

    The banks are fooked!

They need to be put into liquidation.

Why should the state "take them into care" when the state could set up clean new banks from scratch?

    and fupp the begrudgers!

SPN - you've postsed a credible alternative there. Is it on the cards for discussion within the party?

Seeing as all the Aces are in the Green Party hands now, why isn't this solution or one like it demanded?

This is one option that is being discussed internally.

I would imagine that NAMA will still be the solution, but it will be made more transparent and accountable.

    But I could be wrong.
