Some good economic signs from Britain.

Lots of interesting data yesterday. Manufacturing output and house prices rose and the service sector yesterday reported its strongest spurt of growth for 17 months.

Seeing as Clowen and Co have kept telling us their policies will allow is to be the first to gain from an international upturn, I think the recession will be over in 6 months...lol. Yeah right.

NAMA is going to strangle this country as we are forced to pay massive taxes to keep the golden circle mates of FF and other "elites" at the top of the pile.

House prices only rising because of a shortage of properties on the market so people are bidding against each other which will push prices upwards.

UK has paid £21 Billion out in compensation to borrowers and there is the billions spend on supporting the banks.

UK inflation low now and with an election in less than a year its a dead duck parliment with little decision making.

Even worse as their only solution in the UK is printing more money.

Borrowing a % of GDP will be in excess of 100% going forward.

They have used £125 bn of new funny money. They have essentially devalued by aprox 20%.

UK inflation will hit 8% within 5 years, don't mind as will sell house or two for inflated price and pay off other loans.

It will be interesting to see what happens there. It should have an effect here, but I think we are well bunched at this stage...

Their car sales were also up for the first time in over a year - due to some government exchange scheme.

If the UK government does help scrape out of this mess, it will be good news for Ireland (although we'll still be in our own trouble)

Devaluation has worked for them again. What a shame it's not an option for us but at least we'll have somewhere nearby to emigrate to.
