    OK, sorry, carry on...

    AT LAST!!!!!
"that the network of embassies and consulates be reduced from 76 to 55"

    HALLELUJAH!
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

Was it Cowen or Lenihan who said recently that there was no "low hanging fruit". Looking at what been announced so far, McCarthy and the boys might as well have been on a tropical island for the last six months for the amount of waste they've uncovered. Fair play to them.

Now watch as McCarthy promotes his report while it's torn apart by FF backbenchers. Another fudge on the way.

Thanks to some of the cuts here, I have just become a long-term emigrant. It feels great knowing that there is little or no chance of you returning to your own country through no fault of your own.

No reduction in number of Junior Ministers. Pathetic.

No drastic cuts in special advisers. Pathetic.

No cap on higher PS pay and pensions. Pathetic.

Given most of your abusive contributions on this forum, I doubt you'll be missed.
