    Whether realistic or not it's not really a conspracy if you go on telly telling everyone about it

    So when all the "conspiracy theorists" who don't have access to the media talked about it they where "tin foil hat nutjobs", but when the Russian President talks about the same thing at the G8 meeting then it's no longer a conspiracy theory???

    You don't seem to understand why you were thought of as nutjobs. The idea of a single global currency is nothing new and indeed not unprecedented. In fact the idea of having floating exchange rates is a very recent invention. The argument as to whether fixed or floating exchange rates are better has been debated in economics has been around as long as both concepts existed.
