How can he write about the workers, bosses, unions etc when he never worked? He had no real life experience of work- if he had worked in a factory for ten years he'd have more credibility.

Nobody important really takes him seriously anymore - thankfully.

Must we all have tough jobs in order to be able to comment on economics?

I guess that rules out every academic economist from having an opinion on economics then, doesn't it?
