Anybody who knows anything about economics would know that a society based upon libertarian principles would self-destruct in about 3 seconds. These libertarians don't believe in the state ie they are against the state building roads, they are against public schools and hospitals, they believe the guards and army should be privatised, social welfare of all forms (ie dole, medical cards, disability allowance) should be abolished etc etc

Before starting threads on "ultra capitalist Ron Paul nutjobs", it would do well to read about them at first. Reading Mises, Paul, Hayek etc would have helped. I do not know of any of them to advocate privatising the army or police forces.

btw, I'm not even one of them - there are some important things that I do agree with - I am a liberal who will do with extension of the left to something akin to a Scandinavian like social democratic model.

That's strange - you're referring people to articles on how centralisation leads to poverty.

But capitalism necessarily leads to centralisation because of the competition, the profit motive and how companies constantly try to increase their market share. An unregulated capitalism (As you propose) would necessarily lead towards further centralisation of economic power and thus economic decision making.

This would lead to poverty.

(I love it when libertarians make arguments against their own ideas)

Noone is forced to rent their body out if they don't wish to. Your only options are not "prostituting your body" or starving They do so becuase they mutually benefit from the arrangement.

I might add that in a non-capitalist society, the threat of poverty and starvation doesn't go away either.

1. Dying because you can't afford to eat is not an option. Therefore you are forced into work. We've gone through this.

2. No the threat of starvation doesn't go away in a non-capitalist society, but at least you wouldn't be at more of a risk of starvation simply because of your propertyless status.
