Does that have any relevance, honestly? By your stance, then, if I got the data, ran the regressions again, and printed it on different letterheaded paper, so the name ESRI was nowhere near it, you'd be able to comment?

Why? Are you going to "out" her? It is important to have a pluarlity of views on the economy especially. Her ideas are nuts and proven to be so but Sarahj serves a useful purpose. She reminds us that there are still many out there seduced by the basilisk stare of communism.

I disagree however - you try to cut PS wages by what they consider to be an unfair amount and they WILL all strike.
Strike ? are you having a laugh? No one would notice the difference if you striked.

If the PS/CS dares to strike the good and patience worn folk of Ireland will rise.

we need a pol with balls to get rid of at least half of you... go on strike when we cut your income by 25 - 60%

I dare you to strike. DO IT.

Jock, she isn't in the PS or CS. She's a student.

As to the sentiment, it does seem a little aggressive although one can see sometimes why one might be driven to it.

    Calm down.

No Pay cuts, no strikes. It's a fairly simple formula.

I can't wait when its your turn to depand on someone in the ps to help you. Someday in the future someone in the ps is going to wipe your arse or change your nappy cos your family will be too disgusted to do it. Ir maybe your house will go on fire and someone from the ps will run past you and run up the stairs to rescue your little girl while your too busy saving your own arse.

Control; the vitriol a small bit. The majority of ps workers are hard working family people just like you and hundreds of thousands of others.....

Wages in the ps are going to stagnate for the next 15 years. They didn't benefit from the boom of the nineties. The ywere still recovering from the savagery of the Haughey/MCsHARRY CUTS OF THE 80'S.

A small bit of reason and thought into your arguements would be a big help.

You want to keep the wages negotiated during the unsustainable boom, so you can live like a king, while the rest of us struggle in poverty.

Its a nice plan for those of you who can swing it, but there is the small problem of getting in the tax`s to pay for it.

the stagnating wage scale plan will be swamped by next years 600,000 unemployed.

Your better plan is to negotiate a retreat on wage now and then plead your case.

I'm not about to pick apart work done by someone who I'm working with on work experience.

And I'm also not about to get myself sued by an MNC on an issue I cannot prove except by my word of mouth. You don't have to believe me, I was merely illustratiing a point. The point is still valid.
