Vincent Browne - The Recklessness of the Banks Guarantee

Vincent has a panel of mild mannered money men, plus Richard Bruton, and is rightly giving out stink about the disastrous recklessness and foolishness of the Banks Guarantee and of putting 4 billion into Anglo Irish.

He is anxious that people should know what's at stake. Financial Times guy says nothing is going to stop the Government at this stage and why not talk about the mechanics of NAMA.

Vincent is having none of that. He is inviting people to text in their questions.

    Interesting programme so far.

Though apart from Bruton, the other panelists are sitting on the fence and being very cautious.

Factorem, we've already had one. Anglo Irish is propped up with ECB funds.

John Bruton is a nice guy and all, but I don't find him very convincing. I'd sooner Brian Lenihan as Minister for Finance. It's just a shame about Biffo, Coughlan and the rest of the cabinet.
