They are agressively managing the spending side. I'd imagine that they are going to become a lot more aggressive come June 6th onwards.

tax take is 13.5 bn for the first five months of the year. loo-lah Lenny and his merry band of slow learners in the DoF better revise their forecasts downward again, 30bn now seems highly optimistic

Most of the tax take comes around in Nov/Dec. So it's too early to make a comment.
