A Communist Patriot tell it like it is

Elsewhere some poster suggested that Obama was deliberately destroying the real economy. He was scorned. Obama dosn't care for his brother but is supposed to care for the auto workers, ya right

Believe anything you like but seeing is believing.

Ralph Nader is an extreme left wing person who has devoted his time to causes for "the little guy"

As the American worker is reduced to poverty watch and learn as the Irish worker gets the same treatment. Believe it to be just an accident if you like.

This is what Nader says about GM

    Nader Statement On GM Bankruptcy

Read the whole article and every word he says is true.

This is the start of the article

"Today's bankruptcy declaration in federal court by General Motors is an avoidable, crude weapon of mass devastation for workers, dealers, auto suppliers, small businesses and their depleted communities. For GM's voiceless owners -- the common shareholders -- it is a wipeout"

How right you are. There are plenty of threads where Obama is referred to as a parrot because without his cue cards and telepromter and who could disagree. As Citi bank is being nationalised next it sure gives credence to this point of view

Ralph Nader is a consumer advocate, now I'm sure that by mid-west American standards he could be construed as a communist, but in the real world he's just a liberal left of centre figure who stood several times for the US Presidency, on the last two occasions representing the US Green Party.

Nadir (I know what I mean) is disliked by many Dems, if you consider that most people who vote for Nadar are natural Dems then he not being in the race might have won it for Gore, NPR: Nader Wasn't Just Strong in Florida in 2000
I was in Bush country back those days, not his biggest fan but he was better than both alternatives

Whatever way you describe him he is a long way from my point of view on most things. However I have a lot of respect for him and he hits the nail on the head here.

The Green candidate last November was Cynthia McKenny and I like her too

Come on, GM has been a mess for YEARS. This was unavoidable considering the capital the company has destroyed, $142bn since 1998! Imagine what well run companies could have done with this capital, how many jobs could have been created.

This is what should happen to companies that are run like GM, not propped up on the backs of other tax payers.
