Fine Gael: End this Fianna Fail/Green insanity and "liquidate Anglo Irish Bank"

Anglo Irish Bank must be wound up in order to protect taxpayers, Fine Gael Deputy Leader & Finance Spokesman Richard Bruton TD said after the bank published its results.

“Fine Gael has consistently said that an orderly wind-up of Anglo Irish is the only sensible approach for the taxpayer. We cannot continue to pour money into a bucket which is leaking this fast, when there is no prospect of repair. Notes to Anglo’s accounts suggest that ultimately the losses on its loans could be anywhere up to €15 billion.

“The claim by the bank, without any explanation, that an orderly wind-up option would be more costly for taxpayers has to be challenged. Even the smallest investment in a financial product displays prominently that ‘terms and conditions’ apply. The taxpayer must not be sucked further and further into this financial quagmire without any terms and conditions to protect us."

Who are FF and the Green trying to protect by pouring billions and billons of taxpayers money into this cesspool of a "Fianna Fail bank".

    This insanity must end.

This bank should be allowed to go to the wall, and every FF developer scumbag should go to the wall with it

Richard Curren on Today FM is saying that the levy that was recently introduced on workers income should be called the Anglo Irish Levy.
Lucey said it would be better for us to simply go to Poolbeg powerstation and burning the four billion, we would get a better return.

Tom Parlon is probably making more executive decisions than Cowen, Lenihan, Bacon & Alan Ahearne combined. So yes, the PDs and their legacy - the invisible hand.
