(that's a bizarre link to include in a story to hateboard.com. check out the message on that site)

I see FF were quick off the mark with a comment on the expulsion. I think Ivana Batchik went there too, so I expect more will be said.

Stunned at that. Taking a child out from class in front of her peers? There has to be a story behind this.

I'm sure there is. But Alex has a culture where money is all, much more so than many other Protestant schools. An acquaintance who is not short of a few euros sent his daughter there and she was sickened by what she found.

And the government have a cheek paying the salaries of the teachers in these private fee paying schools.

Absolute disgraceful treatment of a student - and her parents should have known better.

I was counting the posts until some tool came along to spout about elitism and wealth.
    Didn't take long. ;-(

Totally agree wit you here, even more so than in the other countless private girls schools in the area......... Incredible that they would do that to a student, who is already under huge stress with her exams looming.........

I was actually referring to Trampas, but your inability to sympathise with this treatment of a schoolchild is noted also.

This story is all about about elitism and wealth. The girl got kicked out of school because her parents were (no longer) wealthy enough to afford the fees. If this was a truly private school, I would regard it as a matter for the school community, including the parents. But this is a publically-funded school which is allowed to operate special rules, above all by excluding those who can't afford the fees.

How many scholarship girls does this school support, I wonder?
