    The Open Market Selling Price..OMSP...hmmmmm

I have been tormented by the famous quote used in that VRT online calculator..!

    The open market selling price...OMSP...!

Has it occured to some of the managers/dictators in the VRO office that we have shifted a few gears back with OMSP on cars in Ireland...is it not obvious the motor trade is in the manure business, that there are garages closing every week...car prices have tumbled by 30-40% perhaps.

So when I log on to the VRT online calculator...it seems their little complicated spreadsheet is still banging out celtic tiger OMSP PRICES...

Who are the people advising on this OMSP...? I know there is no such thing as fairness in this country and we are being screwed in every single sector...every one of them.

I wont go into the frustration I had trying to get them to explain why I am being quoted more for a car model.....even though the Emmisions are identical in the model ranges...it seems that its not about emmisions....its about little letters and badges that are associated with a particular model..

Jesus grant me patience...I am glad it wasnt M3 or AMG after the name...

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I wish that NAMA would respect the OMSP

Tried appealing? Apparently most appeals are successful.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

I have read all the criteria on the site and I prefer to have my business done before I hand over any money to them..There are so many variations in the way the calculations are done. I dont think you can appeal unless you have paid over the money..

My main gripe is how is the OMSP calculated..? Is this not something that is reviewed on a regular bases or is that asking for too much.?

Do you not think this should be about calculation on CO2 outputs...which does kinda work for me...the more output...the more ya pay..?
