    Union leaders live on another planet to those they (pretend to) represent. One example is David Begg, on a salary of €120,000 from ICTU. How can this guy possibly represent ordinary workers, when his salary is extraordinary?!

    And don't forget David Begg was the Gen Sec of the CWU(eircom Union), before a stint with Concern. He was the one in charge when the Eircom ESOP was set up.

    Also, he was leader of ESB Officials Association prior to those stints.

    So all in all, a lifetime spent either in State companies or PS Trade Unionism.
