    Anyone want to try and explain why the Agri budget is up 47% on last year??
    Pork???

    It is also interesting we are continuing to borrow money to put into the National Pension Reserve Fund!!! €396m in 4 months.

    The grant for farm improvements to meet the requirements of the nitrates directive, costing circa €500million - multiples of what was estimated.

    surprise surprise government figures were wrong again 8% difference when it comes to that amount of money is serious have they got mystic meg predicting the figures ?
    I'm not going to defend this government but, equating 16% full year, and 24% for first 4 months, is a little unfair, given that most tax revenue won't accrue until the latter half of the year.

    This month alone is the start.
