Has Shane Ross been offered the position of CEO of AIB?
Newstalk's Breakfast show has just tweeted (posted a message on twitter) to that affect.

8.47am Update: Actually, looks like either Newstalk are fibbing, or (more likely) their Twitter account has been hacked.

Fair enough. Given that he's written some very critical things about that bank, it would be quite a leap! He also comes from a stockbroking background rather than the true banking fraternity.

Ross was on Newstalk this morning talking about the AIB job but gave no indication that he was a candidate or had been approached.
More chance of Joe Higgins being offered it.
