    It is my perception that meat products constantly have the 50% off label attached. The 50% off price seems to be the normal price. I have seen this type of false marketing confidence trick for years everywhere I shop apart from Aldi and Lidl.

    No, your COL has been reduced, but by a negative figure. By your example, your COL has been reduced by minus €35 per week.
