Anyone dumb enough to assert that you'll always pay more flying Aer Lingus over Ryanair is a DUMB shmuck. And patently a propagandist.

30 seconds on the EI and FR websites produced the following quotes for retuirn trips to Nice airport on the same days;

Aer Lingus: Dublin - Nice - Dublin
EI 548 April 11th
EI 549 April 22nd

Handling Fee 10.00

Ryanair Dublin - Nice - Dublin

EURTaxes/Fees 33.37
EURComing Back (Web Fare)1 Adult@ 39.99
EURTaxes/Fees 31.08 EUR

Total Cost of Flight 170.43 EUR

Excluding handling fee (if applicable)

Note the Ryanair quote doesn't include handling fees whereas the Aer Lingus quote does. Add another 10 euro.
Also, Aer Lingus allows cabin hand baggage, Ryanair will charge 35 euro EXTRA penalty for it.
Aer Lingus allows 5kgs more Hold Baggage than Ryanair, which charges an extra 12 euro per kilo - making an automatic extra charge of 60 euro to match Aer Lingus allowance.

The Ryanair flight costs 107 euro more than Aer Lingus.

So in 30 seconds I proved you are a shmuck, and a Ryanair propagandist.
QED.

Rubbish as usual.

Aer Lingus have a cabin baggage allowance of 6kg, Ryanair is 10kg

I applaud you for finding a cheaper flight. Competition is a good thing. Not just when Aerligus are cheaper but all the time.

You must admit this is the exception that proves the rule.

Plus you have posted several hundred posts about Ryanair. A little unstable I think.

I bet ryan air does not include a bag and airport checkin at that. Where as Aerlingus usually does.

I wanted to fly from cork to london. Cheapest flight cost from ryan air was €10 + taxes + bag + checkin + double charging for transaction fee cost 114

Same from aerlingus -> free flights + taxes + bag + checkin + charge was €50

Your problem is you are such a shill you'd pay the extra 100 euro every time.
Go ahead you dumb shmuck, knock yourself out.
But don't foist your bollox about Ryanair being cheaper on the rest of us. The sentient public know to shop aroound EVERY TIME. Only dumb shmucks believe your propaganda.

This is why we SAY NO to the Ryanair Monopoly.
Tell O'Leary to STFU about government taxes and abolish his own 10 euro handling fee.

Agree that monopoly is bad.

But the tax is utter rubbish. Aer Lingus said the same thing.

You seem slightly agitated. Have a read over your own posts. I think you're lovely though.

I'm just emulating my hero - that bollox O'Leary.
The tax is applied to everyone and the country is strapped, in case you hadn't noticed.
Let the airlines cut some of the bullsh1t taxes they've dreamed up instead.
End of story, move on.
