Oh, Ryan Air looking for 'free' advertising again.

Make them pay for the advertising.

And these dumb people - they'd be Ryanairs own passengers.

To be honest - I used to be an evangalist for Ryanair - but they've lost the plot with the on-line Check-in fee. I don't think I will fly with them again.
    It wasn't bad publicity really.

Having a bad safety record is bad publicity. Having a reputation for over charging is bad publicity. Having a publicity stunt which eejits still think was real - that's genius.

Why? Even with all the fees in a significant percentage of cases they are still cheapest by far. I'm certainly careful when I book with them to make sure that there are no hidden nasties and I certainly welcomed the EU decision to force them all to change the way they advertise prices BUT if I want to go to (say) Edinburgh and Ryanair with all the extras is €50/€60 cheaper than the rest then . . . I go with Ryanair. Anything else is cutting off my own nose to . . .

No I was thinking about people with an unhealthy Ryanair obsession. I know one person who has posted several hundred posts about on this website...oh I think you might know that person.

Ryanair will keep thier brand name to the fore for as little cost as possible. They do have some limits. When a staff member was found to have had a career in the adult industry, there was a media shut down from HQ saying it was her private life and reporting her privacy. Must have killed you that they didn't exploit the girl.

Ryanair generate headlines which editors in news rooms soak up. Idiots get their knickers in a twist. And you prove my point more than most.

Funny I would consider someone paying 70 eur more to go to Edinburgh with Aer Lingus as a dumb schmuck.

I would also consider someone who posts several hundred anti-Ryanair messages on a web forum as mentally unbalanced.

    Ryanair has stopped free flights.
    Aer Lingus continues them.
