Des Peelo "the banking crisis is over"

....on Q&A and again today on Drivetime. Never let facts get in the way Des.....

Note: for those of us too young to remember, DP was CJH's accountant. So he knows a lot about liquidity, banking negotiations, threats of national interest etc etc

Has Peelo some special ability or inside track , that he knows how to value the bad assets the banks have and what other cats are going to jump out of the bag.
A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. Supply and demand are thrown out of gear - the overhead goes up; the effective use of human energy goes down; the standard of living is lowered because money cannot buy wealth that is not produced.

This explains why the rest of the panel ignored the ridiculous statement when he made it.

He has spend his life hiding facts and data, so no change there.
