The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

Realistically I can't see it being less than 26000 - so shall go for ...... 30000

Jeez feels like using Monopoly Money throwing these figures around .... and that's the sad part of it ... what a dreadful situation

It will be another disastrous month in the disastrous reign of FF. Too much of the Irish economy focused on servicing a construction and housing bubble, we now reap the consequences. While FF only act to save their friends in the banks or their developer friends with the setting up of a bad bank.

The tens of billions the Irish taxpayer will lose in paying for the bad loans of FF developers could have been used to create hundreds of thousands of jobs in Green Energy among other sectors. Now there isn't a red cent in the coffers for such job creation.

25,000 minimum job losses I predict. Take a bow Mr. Cowen.

But dont worry, the Public sector unemployment rate will remain unchanged at 0!

Yesterday it took 5 council workers to fill in 1 pot hole! 3 stood around chatting, 1 on a mobile phone and another holding up the shovel!

What! Only 5? Sounds like their downsizing.
