Initially It will probably be split into a few regional currency's such as the Euro that will all be on par.

As Andreas Predöhl said in 1967:

Another wacky cult that promises salvation, how original. I wonder who funds it.

A New Age cult that supports the ideals of the UN:
If I can address your questions succinctly.

    1) No! It's up to us to save ourselves.

    2) 30,000+ people die each day from a lack of basic wants in a world of plenty. I am not sure what day in your first question you are referring to. Today would be a good one to start - it's is just sharing.

    3) I am not sure why you think it is a cult. Could you explain this please? Salvation from what?

Share International is obviously a New Age cult, it is pushing "Maitreya" as if he is the next Jesus Christ. Of course I have no doubt that there are quite a few feeble minded idiots that swallow that garbage, I am not one of them.

    Its a load of bollox:

    Latest Master's article:
"Maitreya has chosen this moment to fulfil His promise to enter the domain of men and to help them on their journey. He is emerging now; His herald, the star-sign of His emergence, is seen worldwide by many and is the signal of His appearance, openly, before men. Using the television resources of today, He will engage on a series of interviews starting in America and including Japan and many other countries."
    The moment has come

Share international has been specifically structured as a UN registered non-profit organization so it cannot be ( or possibly evolve into ) a cult. There are no leaders to follow. No money to pay. Nor will there ever be. If you have evidence it is acting like a cult please post it for all to see.

Hahahaha..... All one has to do is look at their crazy ass website...

Here, I will even quote a couple of passages from their loony toon website

    The hand of Maitreya

Hand of MaitreyaIn the October 2001 issue of Share International magazine, a full-page photograph of the hand of Maitreya was published. In response to inquiries from readers,

    Benjamin Creme explains the phenomenon:
This is the hand of Maitreya, portrayed on a mirror in a bathroom in Barcelona. The lady-owner went into the guest bathroom and saw a handprint on the mirror and cleaned it off. She thought no more about it. A few days later when she went into her own bathroom she saw the same handprint on the mirror. Luckily, instead of wiping it off, she got in touch with her son, a co-worker in the Share International group in Barcelona. He took a picture of it and sent it to me, and my Master confirmed it as the hand of Maitreya.

At the beginning and end of every lecture Benjamin Creme is overshadowed by Maitreya for about 20 minutes each time. In this way Maitreya releases his energy to the audience as a special spiritual nourishment or blessing. Many people who have some degree of clairvoyance have seen this, but until now we have not had photographs of the event.

This photograph was taken on 26 September 2001 in Amsterdam at Benjamin Creme's lecture. The photographer, Ellen Bernards, was sitting in the front row on the left of the hall and took the picture just as the initial overshadowing by Maitreya was beginning.

When the photograph was developed she noticed that instead of two people on the platform ― Mr. Creme and the translator ― there are three figures. Mr. Creme, wearing a jacket and tie, was facing the audience, whereas the mysterious figure is facing the camera; he has no tie and the first few buttons of his shirt are open.

Not only is it a Cult, it is a cult backed by the UN. That sends a shiver down my spine.

I am still unclear about why you think it is a cult. Can you explain please?
