I don't care what the left wing loo la's say or think, we need to shut the door to immigrants immediately. The open door policy has contributed to the social welfare mess as well leaving hundreds of thousands of Irish unemployed.

There may be a case for that, but...

The left wing with their left wing nuttery are destroying this country and then try to finger everyone else. It's time they grew up and realised as a nation we cannot provide jobs for our own let alone hundreds of thousands of immigrants.

No wonder Labour are riding high in the polls, at a time when tough decisions have to be made, they want to be everyone's friends. Cynical political opertunism.

Like I say tough decisions have to be made by the government and to hell with the do-gooders. One of these tough decisions is limiting immigration and creating a work permit system for those who are here.

We have paid our dues many times over to the EU in terms of loss of fishing territories, loss of manufacturing jobs, loss of soverignty and paying social welfare and providing jobs needlessly for the last decade. It's time we started looking after ourselves now.

I have no doubt that his motivation is so that he gets a few more euro in his weekly pay packet and that he doesn't give a toss about anyone apart from himself.

However, I think there is an element of this nasty troll in many posters on this thread.
