Is there any justification or benefit to loking at reducing/removing the individualisation introduced by McCreevy ? At the time part of the reasongin was to encourage more out to work, and now the opposite is the case ?
Also, is there a danger with regards single income families in the upcomming budget that new taxation may be severe enough to force the second parent out to work as a result of higher taxation on the single income payer ? Somehting that might not be such a great idea in the current climate ?
Just wondering what peoples opinion was.
