Denis O' Brien's wealth didn't go down in last year?
    Yeh right.
As for Quinn, who da ******************** knows but i'd say $1.5bn is pretty generous.

Unless the lions share of your welath is in a measurable exchange quoted asset, these valuations are totally spurious.
Seriously, where would you even satrt with a valuation of the Quinn Group less charges and loans??

Reclusive construction tycoon, rarely ever seen in public. His 140-year old Shapoorji Pallonji group which he chairs, is run by sons Shapoor and Cyrus. Got noticed when he built a palace for the Sultan of Oman in 1971. Bulk of fortune is private. Listed entity Forbes & Company sells water purifiers under Eureka Forbes brand. Goldman Sachs paid $50 million for minority stake in engineering arm Sterling & Wilson last year. Biggest asset remains 18.4% stake in Tata Sons, holding company of Tata Group which derives over 60% of its $48 billion revenues from overseas. Group undergoing financial hangover after buying binge of expensive acquisitions, notably Corus Steel and Jaguar Land Rover, forcing Tata Sons to pledge shares. Became Irish citizen in recent years but maintains a residence in Mumbai.
Damn immigrants, takin our jobs, takin our wommin and dole. Now even this Billionaire list.. hmmm. ;-)

Good solid engineering portfolio, if he gets more Indian infrastructure projects he will be more by next year.
