    They were hypothesis

Jimmy Carter stated categorically that Chavezs election was free and fair. His accreditation is universally accepted save the fringes of the right. Nothing in what you have linked disproves that. You are claiming empirical support where none exists and further engage in classic projection, simply repeating back the accusations made of you.

All you are indulging in here is search engine argument and that is patently obvious.

    Case closed.
Thug Chavez illegally seized land from Smurfit Kappa. That is wrong and is to be condemned and is no way for any government to behave. Chavez has been doing this regularly. Jimmy Carter said the election was free and fair and the voting and count probably were. But I have posted links showing how Chavez dominates the media and used oil money to buy votes. You ignored this and shot the messenger ridiculing groups you didn't like as "neo-liberal". I am still waiting for the proof that Smurfits stole the land.

    In line with the constitution.

    He acted legally.

Mr Carters contentions (which you accept) totally contradict the links you posted.

Saying Chavez controls the media is an absolute lie. The Media attacks Chavez on a daily basis. Anyone claiming Chavez controls the media hasn't got a clue what they are saying and are talking out their arse.

Who said the Smurfits stole the land? Where did this come from?
Voters don't decide issues, they decide who will decide issues.

I had a long post in reply to you hazzlit, but it timed out and you are not worth the length of time it would take me to retype it.

I know the point you made and that is precisely the point I replied to. The fact that you are to stupid to know what I meant, is your problem, not mine.

As for Smurfitt, I'm sure he paid for it, but so does the person that buys a stolen car, it won't stop the fact that they are liable to being convicted for it.

She didn't. She said it WAS STOLEN. She didn't say the Smurfitts did. Yet another lie on your part that can be disproven. You really have excelled yourself today.

If you are going to accuse other people of being too stupid, at least get the spelling correct. Moron.

Oh you showed me. Oh because no one, ever, in the history of humanity, has ever made one isolated typo in a post. Of course you've never done that.

Oh yes of course, I'm the moron, not the clown that draws a hitler analogy in the middle of the post and yet claims he is not calling Hugo Chavez a dictator.

Call me when you have something relevant to say about Venezuela.

Yes you are the moron, because I never said in any post in this thread "Hugo Chavez" is a dictator. I was pointing out to Leftfemme the obvious fact that a dictator can be democratically elected, and I gave an historical example - Hitler. To say I compared the two politically shows you either didn't bother reading my post, or you misinterpreted it - either way you're wrong. Why don't you post the link to the comment where I "called Hugo Chavez a dictator" !

Screw smurfit. Well Done Chavez. We need someone like him here. Wouldn't have taken him long to sort out our corrupt bankers.

maybe you should have a look again at those numbers and figure out what your actually talking about.
All of those expenditures have been costed and they make up a tiny portion of Venezuela's total oil income. Where did the rest go?

Look man, you either accept the truth when it stares you in the face, or you kid yourself.

Venezuela under Chávez is in the top 10 least transparent economies on Earth.

With the low cost of living in Venezuela and the hundreds of billions in oil revenue, Chávez should have been able to eliminate local poverty in 2005.

Are you telling me that the entirety of the Chávez administration refuses to take bribes? If this were demonstrably true, then why is Venezuela so secretive? What does it have to hide?

The truth is, virtually all latin American national governments rely on a complicated and extensive system of bribes to keep things going. To pretend that Chávez is some kind of saint who prevents this kind of thing is ludicrous. It is a solid and all-permeating aspect of the culture.

It wouldn't surprise me if Chávez is personally anti-corruption. But he needs to keep his people onside. He already almost got ejected by a coup in 2002.

Rooting out corruption never happens without a powerful and independent judiciary. It may happen in Venezuela someday, but probably not under Chávez.
When you see the words "Mises" or "Hayek" in someone's post, just ask yourself: do I really want to ban paper money and go back to gold?

You have to pity the kind of people who buy into conspiracy theories. I find the following to be the saddest words on the internet: "Re: connection between Bilderberg puppet lady gaga and viral outbreak in ukraine "
