Newry still booming with cross border shoppers.

A serious amount of money must be travelling out of the Republics duristiction, why hasnt the price of goods in the Republic been capped?
This should have happened before Christmas, yet shoppers are still squeezing into Newry every weekend taking advantage of the cheaper goods.
This is not all down to the exchange rate, the high price of goods in the Republic is absoloutly ridiculous and only help to drive custom away.

Too right, I was going to buy a car seat in the Jan sales - it was reduced from €149 to €99, but I left it too late. The same seat is now in the shop on special offer of, wait for it, €149 marked down from €169
