    How Angry Are Anglo investors?

On Viewing the anlo share registry at the time of nationalisation there are some really high profile investors on the list.

my Question is, , , , , , how angry do you think these people are to have lost so much money?

Here is a random list of high profile Investors on the share registry on the nationalisation of the bank.

    Tim Pat Coogan
    Leo Crawford, (Spar Ireland)
    James Flavin (fmr-DCC director)
    Ulick McEvaddy
    Dr Michael Smurfit
    Sean FitzPatrick
Dermot Hanrahan, (fmr-head of FM 104)
    Thomas Crosbie (SB Post)
    Gerry Gannon
    Gerald O'Hare,
    Tom Bailey (Developer)
    Irish Nationwide, (50,000 shares)
    Breifne O'Brien

does anyone know if they have commented on their losses in the media yet? . . .

were they outraged at loosing so much Money?

Careful leftofcentre, I close a similar thread by you a few minutes ago which is a copy and paste of this one. Let's be clear, this a thread to about specific people which many invite personal attack or inappropriate commentary that undermines a person's constitutional right to a good night.

Let's have some cop on and be careful here.

Most of them will probably get over it. A lot of the people who lost are retired folk who thought investing in bank shares was a safe way to provide for their retirement. The only thing that saved me from buying shares in AIB about 5 years ago were the crazy charges associated with buying & selling shares.

Totally agree David . . ( Thanks For all the NEG REP TOO! )

I wanted to have a genuine discussion about those who lost massive amounts by investing in Anglo shares and find out If they were angry about the nationalisation.

All Info (names) are publicly available from the share registry, , ,

Its a fair question & Thread ..... '' how angry do you believe these people are?''

    Fair point. . . . but with the -- Loans & Lodgment's-- ''goings on'' I would have expected a bigger uproar! . . .

Maybe they are just to rich, and have taken it on the chin, , ,

Does anyone know if any of them attended the EGM ???? Did they speak up????

    Is that registry online?
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

Well I know that Sean Fitzpatrick will feel a deep sense of outrage at the poor performance of the management team.

I hope he can lead the fight on behalf of all small shareholders.

    yea true ! ! ! !

I just came across a SBP article from last year , , ,

if you were a potential investor at the time,,,, Is easy to see how mislead people were based on the trading statements & share dealing. . . (The article is an interesting take on the speculation at the time)

Any update on the legal actions being taken by small shareholders?

Can inferences be drawn if the big boys don't take legal action?
