Check out this Prime Time archive of Fitzpatrick from May 2006. I think you need RealPlayer to play it although it may work with other players?

Let's cast our minds back to the mid-80s. It's easy to forget those days of negative growth, high unemployment, high taxation, high interest rates, balance of payment problems and mass emigration. Ireland wasn't exactly a great place to do business then [...] there was very little hope for our young and educated who emigrated in their tens of thousands. But the last two decades or so has just blown all of that away. It was as if just overnight we discovered how good we were.
His pride and swagger in the clip is breathtaking, knowing what we know now. He goes on about 'having balls', giving up the G&T lunches for a Ballygowan and a soup and a sandwich instead.

If anyone knows how to convert it to a file and format for uploading to YouTube then please go ahead. It's a 'keeper', as they say.

    Prime Time May 30th 2006

There must be 10 years of archived PrimeTime shows up in RealPlayer format on the RTE site. Use the useful calendar on the link above to move between dates and click on the highlighted/boxed dates for a summary of that episode.
We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

I would only i think i remember him being a pretentious pr1ck on that episode and the idea of having to watch it again knowing what i do now, would make me ill.

Hmm, in that episode, did anyone mention the looming property bubble at all?
