FT I don't think it would. Say we print, using a combination of Greek, Cypriot, Slovakia and a few Spainish serial numbers, €100 billion euros on the qt.

The GDP of the eurozone is nearly €10 trillion. There is no way that any proper european, ie German and Dutch, are going to notice another 1% of cash floating around.

Given the horror thats going on, if some responsible Saxon is counting up the cash in Frankfurt and he thinks there is 1% more than last month, his boss is probably Italian, Portugese and will be not bothered to tell anyone.

This is the recovery plan. Its perfect. Its just a variant on the Irish Sweepstakes.

    Well done clontarfblue.

But Our money is the money of Europe.

If we created hyperinflation we would create it all over Europe.

Chances are we are too small to ruin Europe, but would lower the value of the Euro against the Dollar or the pound.

And thats if we were caught!

Why not make a euro worth a million euros so we can solve poverty!
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

There's only €710bn notes and coin in circulation. Even a Spaniard would notice a jump of €100bn.

    Dammit!
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.
